Squished on the couch 
Thursday night was a good time, but we all behaved ourselves in anticipation of Friday night... Quick side note: Here's a before and after shot of Jonny Boy's living room with Jim, Robb, and I there:
So Friday morning we loaded up the car and headed to CANADA! We got across the border no problem (which was a surprise in itself because Robb only had a photocopy of his birth certificate) and high-tailed it straight to TORONTO. By the time we got into town it was late afternoon, therefore we spend the rest of the time leading up to the concert walking all over the city.
Not a good city to be a Sabres fan in!

We decided it would only be appropriate for Jon to buy his very first legal beer! The first bar we popped into was called "The Fox and the Hound". It was definately too high class, it even smelled like cleaning products -- no place for a college student! So we continued to walk around town until we found this gem of a bar (see picture below) -- PERFECT! To top it off, it was even a sports bar...
A couple hours and a $40 AC/DC t-shirt later....FINALLY IT WAS TIME!!! The concert opened up with a cartoon played on 5 video screens of a 'satanic' Angus Young trying to control a run-away train (in reference to their new single Rock 'n Roll Train) followed by explosions that revealed a huge actual locomotive on stage. To say that AC/DC rocked out would be the understatement of the century! They were amazing, phenominal, fantastic, and all of the above.
Angus ran/jumped all over the stage and his guitar solos where unforgettable -- even while playing one handed or twirling around the stage floor on his back! At one point the stage elevated on scissor jacks during an Angus solo.
They played 5 songs off the new album (which I tried very diligently to learn every word to every song over the preceding month) and also played all their old classics: Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, Hells Bells (during which Brian Johnson swung all over stage on a gigantic AC/DC bell that was lowered from the rafters), You Shook Me All Night Long, Let There Be Rock (Jim's new favorite song), Shoot to Thrill, The Jack, Highway to Hell, etc....
One song that that I'll never forget is Whole Lotta Rose (a song about a very large "loose" woman). Why won't I forget it? I'm glad you asked -- check out the 30' tall inflatable stage prop..

The concert ended with six actual cannons firing away during For Those About To Rock We Salute You. After which the four of us looked at each other knowning that we just experienced the best concert we would EVER see!!!
My ears were still ringing the next night.....
