When I talked to her on the phone mid-week, she sounded like death. The official medicine, Tamiflu, did end up curing the flu -- but it came with some side effects. She said it made her feel 'drunk' - common side effects included dizzyness and vertigo.
She finally started feeling a little better on Friday. Saturday I drove out to visit her. Being the compassionate, loving boyfriend that I am, I wore this shirt:
It's a good thing she has a sense of humor! Bacon's Revenge indeed....
