Jim and Jenna have a timeshare the Grandview at Las Vegas, which is about 5 miles south of the strip right on Las Vegas Blvd. The planning for the trip began back in December with Jim's idea (and Jenna's blessing) of a "MAN WEEK" in Vegas during their allotted timeshare week. The original plan included upwards of 6 guys, but when it came time to actually book the flights and take the vacation time from work people started dropping out faster than George W at a MENSA initiation. In the end, MAN WEEK consisted of Jim, myself, and our friend Bob.
The Grandview was an absolute gorgeous place to stay. The complex as a whole is still very new, as at least one high rise was still under construction. All the buildings were named after flowers - we stayed in the 'Lily' building. I couldn't think of a better place to stay for MAN WEEK than a place named after this:
The place was seriously great though, here's the grand tour. We'll start our tour with the living room and go clockwise through the condo. The couch pulled out into a queen size bed - where Bob and I slept. Don't worry, we did the over-under routine with the sheet to make sure we didn't make any contact haha 
Next up is the master bedroom complete with jacuzzi tub. Jim claimed the king size bed to himself, which seemed fair since it was his condo after all. The bedroom had it's own TV and a jacuzzi tub. The only thing we used the tub for was drying out the bathing suits though...
In the above picture, you'll notice a door. That will lead you directly to the bathroom. There was also an entrance from the kitchen, but we'll get to the next. The bathroom came complete with his & hers sinks, or as we used them: Jim & Dan/Bob sinks.
The kitchen was surprisingly large and came fully furnished with a fridge, stove, and even a dishwasher (which I used believe it or not). All the necessary utensils were also included. In fact we were left wanting for nothing but an ice bucket - although an engineer cleverly used the largest kitchen stove pot.
Here is the view from out of the condo's windows. There were two pools and even a waterfall! The pools were actually quite cool and refreshing. We suspected that the water might have been air conditioned (think inverse pool heater).
In the pool area there were about a half dozen gas grills complete with umbrella-ed picnic tables. Due to this and to our full kitchen our first order of business on day #1 was to go grocery shopping. We stocked up on grill meats (hot dogs, sausage, hamburgers, and steak), snack food, and cereal -- it turned out to be a great way to save some money. Money that was promptly lost to gambling...
